A clinical psychologist and former Wall Street executive, Mark Edison advises senior business and professional leaders on people issues at the top of their organizations.

Dr. Edison helps C-level executives to get the right people in key roles, assesses high-stakes hires and advises top performers on tackling new assignments. He has worked with leaders at Fortune 1000 corporations, closely-held companies, law firms, academic medical centers and large family enterprises. Dr. Edison also serves as an advisor in the Program on Social Intelligence at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

During his career on Wall Street, Dr. Edison consulted to the senior leadership of global public corporations on mergers and acquisitions communications strategy. His clients included Baxter International, Ryder System and the predecessor companies of J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America and Marriott International Corporation. The critical role of human behavior at the highest levels of business increasingly fascinated him, and he left Wall Street to pursue a doctorate focused on the dynamics of leadership.

Raised in Missouri, Dr. Edison earned his Ph.D. at the City University of New York and holds an honors bachelor’s degree from Yale University. He serves as a trustee of The Town School, an independent co-educational day school in New York City, and is a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations.
